Community art show to be held in Trempealeau

Artists who want to show their work and those who want to see it will have an avenue to safely do so thanks to a program by the Shirley M. Wright Memorial Library in Trempealeau.

A community art show will be available both online and in person from Aug. 10 to Aug. 24. Library officials are asking “everyone and anyone” of all ages to submit pictures of some art that they’ve made to swmldirector@wrlsweb.org by July 30.

Those submitting are asked to include a JPEG, PDF or PNG file of the piece, their name (if they wish to have it shared with the public), the title of their piece and the medium used to create it (i.e. oil, acrylic, ink, etc.).

The artwork will then be displayed outside in the library’s patio and online on the library website, www.swmlibrary.org, as well as its Facebook and Instagram pages.
