Diane M. Lisowski

Diane Marie Lisowski, 54, of Taylor, and formerly of Arcadia, was welcomed by her dear mother into the Kingdom of God on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at Gundersen Health Systems in La Crosse.

Diane was born in Whitehall, August 29, 1965, to Roman and Betty (Dahl) Lisowski. She attended school in Independence and graduated with the Class of 1984. Diane loved to sew and cross-stitch in her spare time, with her water and coffee by her side. She spent many years volunteering as a coach with the Special Olympics, a passion that she always held close to her heart. After meeting her loving partner, Dan, in 2008, Diane became his “biker chick”, and enjoyed countless miles exploring the countryside and open road. She was a die-hard fan of the Green Bay Packers and the WWE, to both she was truly loyal. Most of all, Diane enjoyed spending time with her family and cat, Suzie. She truly adored her grandson, Dominic, and was so happy to be a grandma to this miracle. Diane’s strength and determination to overcome life’s challenges will forever be admired by those who loved her. Her sense of humor and the outpouring love she expressed will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Diane is survived by her son, Michael (fiance, Jessica) Lisowski of Osseo; grandson, Dominic Lisowski of Osseo; father, Roman Lisowski of Independence; sisters: Sandy Olen of Trempealeau, Ramona (Lawrence) DeShaw of Apple Valley, MN., and Nancy (Dean) McHugh of La Crosse; brothers: Terry (Patricia) Lisowski and Keith (Kris) Lisowski, both of Arcadia; very special friend, Duane “Dan” Olson of Taylor; and nieces: Jennifer Luedtke and Katie Kostman; nephews: Jonathan Fawcett, Andrew Fawcett, Joshua Brägger and Tyler Kotlarz; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty; grand-daughter, Caitlynn; and brother-in-law, Mark Olen.
