Blair native awarded by school organization

Mark Anderson, a 1990 graduate of Blair-Taylor High School, was recently named the Administrator of the Year by the Wisconsin Association of School Councils (WASC). 

Anderson, the son of Jerome and Belinda Anderson of Blair, has served as the assistant principal at Menomonie Middle School since 2009. After graduating from B-T, he earned an undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a masters degree from UW-Madison. 

Anderson resides in Menomonie with his wife, Willow, and two sons, Samuel, a high school sophomore, and Gavin, a seventh grader. 

The award honors administrators who have shown outstanding support for students in their school. The WASC is a statewide organization of pubic, private and parochial schools, high school student councils and student leadership groups dedicated to the continuation of leadership development and student responsibilities in Wisconsin.
