Wildcat net team splits opening week

The Blair-Taylor volleyball team began their season last week, finishing on both sides of 3-0 sweeps between their two games.
The Wildcats fell in three sets to Independence last Tuesday (story elsewhere in sports), before bouncing back with a three sets to zero win over Gilmanton on Thursday.
A home and away scheduled for next week with Melrose-Mindoro was cancelled, which leaves their next scheduled match as of press time for Oct. 1 against Whitehall at home.

B-T ran away with a three-set sweep of Gilmanton, led by their effort on serves. Madison Goodbear tallied seven aces, while Abby Thompson added six.
