‘Leap Day’ celebration at Old Main Saturday
Celebrate “Leap Day” at Old Main Historical and Community Arts Center in Galesville Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Attendees can hear the Crooked Willow string band with vocals that will take you to places where trees grow near the riverside and frogs leap, people fish, and children play. Some say that leap day is the time to make decisions that have long been delayed — then celebrate the joy of starting something new.
The bistro tables will be set with comical, sculpted frogs created by Gibby Rall. Treats will be offered and Jim Riley’s waterscape photos will still be available for viewing in the gallery.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for college students. The event is free to people in high school and younger. Old Main is located at 20869 College Ave. in Galesville.
