Two charged with drug use in front of children

Two Galesville residents were charged with possession of drugs after sheriff’s deputies followed up on a video allegedly showing the two using drugs in front of children aged four and two and a half.

Taylor Dobbs, 22, and Bailey Owen Ahlert, 19, both of 21343 Wolfe Run Lane, 1B, were charged with felony possession of methamphetamines, being a party to a crime and two misdemeanor counts of neglecting a child. Dobbs is the mother of the children.

Both were released on $2,500 bond. Their initial hearing in Trempealeau County Circuit Court is scheduled for March 10.

Deputy Kyle Myhre responded to a call that an individual had video evidence of Dobbs and Ahlert using drugs in the presence of the two children, according to the criminal complaint. During a subsequent visit to the Wolfe Run Lane residence, deputy Erica Koxlien purportedly found a mirror shown in the video with drug residue, court records say.
