Beat The Heat

            With heat indexes near 100 degrees Fahrenheit every day last week, the Blair-Preston Fire Department offered attendees of the Wheel-R-On-In car show a chance to cool off in a sprinkler last Thursday. The car show was held on Broadway St., shutting down the city’s downtown area for the evening. The fire department sold food and beverages during the event and set up the sprinkler for attendees to cool off.            (Times photograph by Andrew Dannehy)
