One basket the difference as BRF fends off Arcadia boys

Last Friday’s prep boys basketball game at Arcadia High School was as back and forth as games come.

The host Raiders played Black River Falls to a 23-23 tie at halftime, and the teams continued to trade scores in the second half.

Black River Falls ended with one more basket to claim a 46-43 win.

The Coulee Conference loss was the second in as many days for the Raiders (3-4 overall, 0-3 Coulee), who also fell to G-E-T on Thursday (story elsewhere in sports).

Arcadia is scheduled to host Luther this Tuesday before they visit conference leader West Salem on Friday.

Three different players (Rotering, Maverick Drazkowksi, Devon Baier) grabbed eight rebounds apiece for Arcadia.
