Plow Fest in Waumandee this Sunday

The pumpkin cannon will be on display in Waumandee on Sunday as part of Plow Fest, sponsored by the Waumandee Lions Club.

The cannon shoots pumpkins 1,500 feet into nearby hills. That will be just one of the crowd-pleading events at Harmonia Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A kids tractor pull will be held at noon with the parade of tractors at 1 p.m. and a plowing demonstration at 1:30. There will also be crafts, kids games and cars on display. 

There will also be food with three chefs cooking chicken, brats and hot dogs. Carryouts will be available.
