Practice Makes Perfect

            Firefighters from the Blair-Preston, Arcadia-Glencoe, Taylor and Independence fire departments all took part in a training to help put out fires caused by propane tanks. The Wisconsin Propane Education Research Council donated the training that was instructed by Fire LLC behind the Simmons Construction building in Blair. Firefighters learned how to extinguish fires on propane tanks of various sizes with Alcivia donating the propane used in the training. (Times photograph by Andrew Dannehy)
