Raider boys can’t keep up with Rails
The Arcadia boys basketball team couldn’t get its offense going in a 63-50 loss to Altoona last week Monday.
The Raiders shot 32.1 percent from the floor in the game, including a six-for-19 mark on three-point attempts. They trailed 31-23 at halftime before Altoona pulled away for a 13-point win.
Austin Zastrow led Arcadia with 11 points while Richard Gomez scored 10, Kaden Updike had nine; Chandler Sonsalla, seven; Evan Pauly, five; Carson Pehler and Egan Pauly, three and Joseph Riviera, two.
Evan Peterson led Altoona with 20 points while Brayden Turk added 17.
The loss dropped Arcadia to 2-1 on the season before they played at Westby this week Monday. They’re slated to host Fall Creek this coming Monday before welcoming West Salem next week Friday.
