Spooky Season Opener

            Businesses lined up in the Ss. Peter and Paul School parking lot to provide Halloween treats to area children at the annual Trunk-or-Treat and Food Drive in Independence on Monday. Attendees were asked to bring nonperishable food items for the local food pantry as they went from trunk to trunk, filling up their bags with candy two weeks before Halloween.
