UPDATE:

The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department has determined that the death of a man Wednesday in Ettrick was in fact a homicide.
Trempealeau County Sheriff Brett Semingson said law enforcement does not believe the public is at risk and that the death is an "isolated incident."
He declined to comment on any details about the incident, including whether any suspects have been identified.
Semingson said the cause of death and the victim's name are also not yet being released. He said possible Marsy's Law considerations don't allow immediate release of the victim's name. Marsy's Law protects the civil rights of victims.
