Trempealeau County Police Report No. 18 to Nov. 25


 

 

Wednesday, Nov. 18

10:20 — Trempealeau County: Caller is the landowner’s son reporting a trespassing complaint. Caller will wait for an officer at the suspect’s truck.

11:29 — Ettrick: Someone is throwing garbage in the caller’s dumpster. Caller found a name in the garbage.

16:16 — Blair: Kids are playing in the rubble from a fire.

17:04 — Ettrick: Caller hit a deer and it ran off.

17:53 — Trempealeau: A male with blond hair was peeping in the caller’s bedroom window. Caller doesn’t know where the male went.

18:03 — Osseo: A subject is walking on the road.

Thursday, Nov. 19

06:59 — Arcadia: Horses are running down the road.

12:04 — Whitehall: Caller heard a big bang and wants to know what is going on.

14:22 — Arcadia: Caller said horses have no water or shelter. It is an ongoing problem. There are five horses. A deputy was dispatched to check on the animals.

17:26 — Arcadia: A male is laughing face down next to the roadway.

17:37  — Arcadia: A 62-year-old male is intoxicated and has fallen. Caller doesn’t know if he is injured. He is conscious and breathing, possibly a COVID-19 case.  

19:17 — Galesville: Female called 911 to ask why the siren was going off.

22:19 — Ettrick: A car has been driving 80 miles per hour or more and passing multiple vehicles at one time.

Friday, Nov. 20

06:03 — Arcadia: A vehicle has been parked in front of the caller’s apartment for 30 minutes. It has been running.

09:25 — Osseo: Large hay bales are on fire.

09:57 — Strum: Caller found a deer that was struck. The caller would like the deer so dispatch provided a phone number for the Department of Natural Resources.

12:03 — Independence: Two-car accident. Both cares are in the lot with no injuries or road blockage.

12:19 — Whitehall: A deputy gave an indigent female a ride to a shelter.

13:54 — Whitehall: A male threatened to shoot the caller. The caller has weapons in his truck for self-defense.

14:36 — Arcadia: A car has been sitting on the caller’s property for four hours.

17:19 — Osseo: Deer crash reported. Damage was done to the vehicle, the deer is dead in the ditch.

17:34 — La Crosse County: An unwanted person is refusing to leave.

18:11 — Galesville: 911 hang-up call. Dispatch called back and spoke with a female who sounded like she was crying, but she denied it. She said it was a misdial.

20:42 — Eleva: Caller is wishing to report that he was choked in 2001.

Saturday, Nov. 21

00:28 — Osseo: Anonymous complaint of a possibly impaired driver.

08:10 — Ettrick: Caller hit a deer last night. The deer ran away and the vehicle is drivable with no injuries.

09:21 — Independence: Two cattle are on the road and five or six more are in the ditch.

09:47 — Independence: A male and female are in dispute over the ownership of a vehicle.

12:11 — Arcadia: One car rear-ended another and there is significant damage, but no injuries.

13:35 — Galesville: Caller caught someone trespassing this morning. The subject was shooting near houses. Caller said he came close to getting shot.

14:25 — Trempealeau: Two carbon monoxide alarms are going off in the house. Everyone is out of the house.

14:32 — Trempealeau: Caller requesting an ambulance for her daughter in Nebraska. Dispatch provided her with the phone number and advised the caller that they are unable to transfer a 911 call to Nebraska.

17:29 — Eleva: Caller reported prostitution is going on in the trailer park.

18:47 — Independence: A wanted male just smashed in the caller’s door.

19:13 — Osseo: Someone just dumped two kittens on the caller’s front porch.

19:46 — Arcadia: Caller reported his garage window appears to have been struck by a bullet.

20:44 — Strum: A car hit a person.  

21:17 — Eleva: Trailer park resident reported they are being harassed by the park manager. Caller wants contact and to speak with the park owner.

Sunday, Nov. 22

01:14 — Arcadia: Altercation between two males.

09:03 — Independence: A very excited male said there is a wanted male traveling toward Independence.

09:12 — Whitehall: Male is irate that a male and female are having contact when they should not be. This is at a rental property.

10:13 — Trempealeau: Caller advised two dogs chased a female who was walking her dog. The caller had to chase the dogs away with a baseball bat. This is the third time this has happened. Caller said the dogs are large and are now chasing a car. Caller said they are very aggressive.

12:35 — Eleva: Trailer park caller reporting another resident’s child and dog are provoking the caller’s dog.

13:25 — Osseo: A neighbor is harassing the caller for parking a vehicle near their property.

16:44 — Eleva: Caller reported trespassers are on the property now.

18:09 — Eleva: Caller wants to commit suicide, is crying and screaming.

18:31 — Blair: Caller’s boyfriend pushed her and threatened to kill her and himself, she said.

19:01 — Independence: Caller reported that a male there his refusing to leave. The caller was very agitated.  

19:13 — Strum: Caller hit a deer. Nobody is injured; caller isn’t sure of the status of the deer. The vehicle is not drivable.

23:34 — Eleva: Caller would like a male and his daughter to leave.

Monday, Nov. 23

00:32 — Blair: Rusk County is requesting a welfare check for a juvenile female who is reported to have made suicidal comments.

06:58 — Whitehall: Caller just hit a deer and the deer went into the field.

07:43 — Osseo: Tie cutters have taken down power lines.

07:50 — Blair: Caller has been receiving Facebook and phone messages threatening his business and his wife.

09:29 — Ettrick: A wounded deer is in a field and needs to be dispatched.   

10:36 — Eleva: A trailer park resident is very irate and is in a confrontation with another resident.

11:17 — Galesville: Theft of mail from the caller’s mailbox.

11:34 — Eleva: Same caller from the previous call said the trailer park resident is now threatening to blow up the caller’s propane tank and trailer.

11:38 — Independence: A female without a valid driver’s license is driving from Independence to Blair.

14:15 — Independence: Caller reported the theft of Oxycodone from his brother’s house.

15:19 — Trempealeau: Third party report of a rollover. No mention of injuries. The vehicle is 15-to-20 feet off of the road.

15:24 — Independence: A truck driver came in and is possibly having a medical issue or is under the influence of something. He is stumbling.

16:01 — Galesville: Caller has received a suspicious package in the male. Caller is concerned because he does not know the shipper.  

16:16 — Osseo: Very erratic, possibly intoxicated driver reported.

16:28 — Whitehall: A sick raccoon is in the middle of the road.  

17:12 — Arcadia: A white pickup is all over the road.

17:23 — Osseo: Officer is out with two vehicles on the side of the road with hazards on.  

19:34 — Blair: Caller wants to file a harassment complaint.

22:03 — Galesville: A dark-colored sedan is all over the road. Caller is not willing to provide a statement.

Tuesday, Nov. 24

00:05 — Galesville: 911 call in which dispatch could hear a male saying he has nothing in his system and a female telling him she can’t leave him like this. No one would speak to dispatch.

08:33 — Arcadia: A vehicle went over an embankment. The driver said she has a tow coming.

08:41 — Galesville: Caller advised her daughter slid off the roadway.  

08:47 — Trempealeau County: Caller’s vehicle slid into the guardrail. One person is reporting back and head pain.

09:28 — Strum: A female sent a message to a nurse saying she doesn’t feel safe with the male who is living with her. She doesn’t want the male to know she is scared. He has never been physical with her. Caller has called the female three times this morning and the phone just goes to voicemail. The female did not show up for her appointment. Caller would like a welfare check done.

09:33 — Galesville: A male with several abdominal pain reported.

13:11 — Galesville: Caller hit a guardrail about 30 minutes ago.

13:25 — Galesville: Passerby reported a crash.

13:48 — Galesville: Officer is out with a tow company at an accident.

13:53 — Ettrick: A car is in the ditch and partially in the creek. He said he called for a tow, but has been waiting for 40 minutes.

14:10 — Galesville: An SUV is in the ditch; caller will check back on it shortly.

14:44 — Trempealeau: Caller slid into the ditch. He doesn’t believe his vehicle has any damage.

15:12 — Galesville: Tow company reporting they are out with a vehicle in the ditch near more that are also in the ditch.

15:20 — Ettrick: Caller reported a semi is sideways in the road as it could not make the hill on Highway 54.

15:35 — Ettrick: A one-ton truck pulling a large enclosed trailer is blocking both lanes. The trailer is empty.   

15:39 — Osseo: A stolen Uhaul reported.

18:25 — Dodge: A subject backed into the caller’s vehicle and took off.

18:36 — Galesville: A rollover reported. It did not look like anyone was in the vehicle.

22:18 — Ettrick: A man is irate that his son is at a given address as he had been missing for three days.

23:57 — Osseo: Juvenile daughter snuck out of her window maybe 10 minutes ago. Caller doesn’t know where she may have gone.

Wednesday, Nov. 25

00:30 — Whitehall: Caller believes a male is intoxicated and is driving in the area.

03:45 — Blair: A female came home intoxicated and they are arguing. The male said the female struck him. Dispatch could hear the female shouting in the background saying that is not what happened.

07:13 — Galesville: A vehicle is in the ditch. No one is around.  

09:14 — Blair: 911 open line, can hear males talking in the background.
