Whitehall city council meeting mostly closed

The Whitehall city council made quick work of their agenda at their most recent meeting as most of it was spent behind closed doors.

Two closed sessions were on the schedule, one regarding purchases with public funds and one regarding employment. The first closed session lasted eight minutes, and the second twelve minutes. No action was taken regarding either closed session.

Following closed session, the council approved the vouchers and the treasurer’s report. The city office will be closed December 23-26, as well as January 1-2, for the holidays.

The next city meeting will be January 10 at 6 p.m.
