Wildcat netters win season finale

The Blair-Taylor volleyball team ended their season last Monday with a victory, sweeping Gilmanton in three sets last week.

The Wildcats finish their season 4-8, including a first-round postseason loss to Cochrane-Fountain City.

Last Monday’s season finale was also the final game for seniors Ceziah Chandler, Emma Johnson, Austyn Capouch, Katrina Lien, Abbigail Leer, Grace Brown, Hannah Mason, McKenna Boe and Alivia Boe. The program will return Chloe Wagner, Leah Kidd, Josie Waldera and Aaliyah Borntregger in next year’s senior class.

The Wildcats battled through a competitive second set to remain in control of a three-set sweep in their season finale in Gilmanton last Monday.

Head coach Jessica Grogan praised the balanced effort on offense.

“We had six different girls with two or more kills and several contributing ace serves and solid defense,” Grogan said. “Great way to end the season.”
