WHS boys win DC meet at E-S
The Whitehall boys cross country team topped Blair-Taylor and Eleva-Strum to win last Thursdays meet.
The meet had three boys teams and zero full girls teams, with just six overall runners. Runners from Whitehall took five of the top six spots, including race winner Kevin Carroll.
The teams were in action again on Monday at Melrose-Mindoro in the final scheduled regular season race. The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association has not yet announced if a state tournament series will be conducted for cross country, but lists a date for “culminating events” for Oct. 31.
