Rose M. (Julson) Bolling

Rose M. (Julson) Bolling passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Aspirus Merrill Hospital.

Rose was born January 3, 1953, in Whitehall, daughter of the late Glen and Patricia (Thoma) Julson. She married Dean Bolling, September 30, 1972, in Whitehall. He preceded her in death, July 16, 2012. They enjoyed family farming for 20 years in Gleason. She enjoyed caring for others through her re-established degree as a C.N.A.

Rose was a voracious reader, devouring many genres of novels. She was able to enjoy many travels especially with her sister to Europe. Rose fulfilled her and Dean’s lifelong dream of a cruise to Alaska. Most of all, her family was her life, and she enjoyed all the opportunities to spend time with them — through the many weekend trips to the waterparks, watching Friday night football, attending swim meets and softball games and baking with the grandkids. She also enjoyed spending time with her many friends.

Rose is survived by her children: Kevin Bolling (Robin Sanford) of Merrill, Jenni (Eric) Pehlke of Merrill, and Paul Bolling of Shelby, NC; grandchildren: Jentzen (Greg) Balza, Dillon Chieves, Noah Bolling, Melony (Micah) Hershey, Morgan Bolling, Devin Miller, Aiden Pehlke, and Caitlynn Pehlke; and siblings: Debbie (Gaylord) Herbert of Holmen, Darrell (Debbie) Julson of Whitehall, David Julson of Whitehall, and John Julson of Whitehall.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Bolling; parents, Glen and Patricia Julson; and two brothers: Gary Julson and Keith Julson.

A memorial service was held Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 12:00 P.M.,  at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home in Merrill. Father Mariadas Vallabhaneni presided.
