George Theisen

George Theisen, 75, formerly of Arcadia, passed away suddenly at his home, July 30, 2024.
George was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital to George and Elizabeth (Baecker) Theisen. He graduated from St. Aloysius Elementary School and Arcadia High School, enlisted in the U.S. Army, and later served in Vietnam. George married Nancy Ammann, and they had a daughter, Tracy (Dan) Johnson of Stewartville, MN. George owned and operated George’s Masonry Company for many years and enjoyed shooting pool, winning many tournaments.
George moved to Eau Claire and married Dawn Raine. They had four children: Summer, Sierra, Savana and Nicholas. George retired several years ago and was living in Bloomer at the time of his passing.
In addition to his children and wife, George is survived by his brother, Charles (Dianne) Theisen of Arcadia; sisters: Judith Filla of Arcadia and Joyce Russell of Poway, CA; sister-in-law, Karen Theisen of Stoughton; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Johanna (Ervin) Przybylski; brothers: Paul and Bernard; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation Friday, September 27, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Wozney-Killian Funeral Home, where there will also be a prayer service at 3:00 p.m., officiated by Father Kyle Laylan. Burial with military rites presented by the Tickfer-Erickson American Legion Post #17 will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Township of Glencoe.
