Peggy A. (Blaha) Aschan

Peggy A. (Blaha) Aschan, 70, of Apple Valley, MN, passed away Monday December 1, 2025.

She was born June 20, 1955, to Alex and Lucy Blaha, in Whitehall. Peggy was raised on the family farm. She was a 1973 graduate of Whitehall High School, and earned her teaching degree from Stout University, teaching for a brief time. She later embarked on a long and dedicated career as a mail carrier, serving her community for more than 30 years.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Terry Aschan Jr.; children: Ladea (Venice) Paul, and Luke (Ashly) Miller; eight grandchildren: Lucia, Wren, Jessica, Amanda, Samantha, Jacob, Nikolai, and Gage; and great-grandson, Keaton; as well as friends and relatives who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Lucy Blaha; sisters: Betty White, Barbara Davis; and step daughter, Maria Aschan.

An open house memorial to honor her life will be held Thursday December 18, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at The Meeting Point, 14537 Dodd Blvd., Rosemount, MN. A graveside service for the family will be held Friday, December 19, 2025, at Lebanon Cemetery in Apple Valley, MN.
