Raiders rebounds from Fall Creek loss with win over BRF
The Arcadia girls basketball team completed a decisive season sweep of Black River Falls, throttling the Tigers for a second time to get back on track from a loss to Fall Creek earlier in the week.
The Raiders (12-6, 6-1 Coulee) will seek to complete a similar season sweep of Westby when they square off Friday night at the Wanek Center.

The Crickets (8-7) used a 13-2 run in the middle stages of the opening half to go ahead by double digits and never looked back last Tuesday in Arcadia.
After briefly getting back within single digits, the Raiders trailed 36-25 going into the locker room at halftime. Fall Creek added on in the second half, leading by as much as 21 in their victory.
Arcadia junior Tatum Drazkowski stuffed the stat sheet, putting up 23 points and 18 rebounds for a double-double while also recording seven blocks and five steals. Other leading scorers for the Raiders were junior Amaya Schlesser with nine points, junior Madison Grotjahn with eight and senior Justine Sonsalla with six.

A balanced scoring attack helped the Raiders pummel the Tigers (2-13, 0-7) this past Thursday at the Wanek Center.
Drazkowski had another double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, Sonsalla scored 16 points (including going 3 of 5 from deep), Grotjahn tallied 14 points and hauled in six boards and freshman Layla Blaschko contributed nine points off the bench.
Freshman Gianna Backaus and sophomore Olivia Larkin finished with 17 and 11 points, respectively, for BRF, who previously lost to Arcadia at home 67-22 back on Dec. 12.
