Audrey J. Moen

Audrey J. Moen, 82, of Blair, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at her home.

Audrey was born March 9, 1938, in Whitehall, to Alden and Ruth (Hanvold) Lyngen. She married Clifford Moen, June 8, 1963. They were married until Clifford passed away in August of 1988. Audrey remained on the home farm until her death.

Audrey loved to hunt (bucks only – “No doe to be shot”). She had every one of the deer named that would come and visit her every day. She loved going to Bay Park in Trego to go fishing and stay in a cabin for a week. She enjoyed taking pictures — her camera was always by her side, just in case. As her grandson Wyatt wrote, “She had a generous heart and loved her children and grandchildren very much. She was a great baker and would make cookies and zucchini bread for them almost every day. She was tough as nails and stubborn, but her family loved her very much. We lost a great woman but heaven gained an angel.”

Audrey is survived by her sons: Wayde Moen and Jason (Debra) Moen; her “like sons”: Dave Vorwald, Mikey Ressel and John Doerr; her daughters: Shawn (Alan) Pogreba, Heidi (Mark) Berzinski and Crystal Moen; her grandchildren: Shaylee (Joe) Walters, Skylar Everson and Dylan Pogreba; Trista (Joel) Berzinski and Tradon Berzinski; Hannah and Macie Berg and Wyatt and Draven Moen; her great-grandchildren: Sierra Hynes and Cashton Walters; Rhylee and Leo Cruz and Caidence Tulius; her brother, Roger (Sara) Lyngen; and very good friends: Carol Ulness, Kim Lauterbach, Helen Marthaler and Rosalle Beaty.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Alden and Ruth (Hanvold) Lyngen; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Theodore and Olga (Linberg) Moen; her husband, Clifford; son, Bradley; and daughter, Becky; her brothers-in-law: Truman Moen and Allen Moen; and sister-in-law, June (Peters) Moen.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
