Beverly Ann (Stellflue) Tranberg
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Beverly Ann (Stellflue) Tranberg. She left us at the age of 83, August 20, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of passing. Beverly was a beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.
Beverly was born March 1, 1941, to Donald and Mabel (Salzwedel) Stellflue in La Crosse. She was brought up in Ettrick with a deep-rooted sense of family, a quality that remained with her always. Beverly married the love of her life, Glenn Tranberg, December 17, 1966. During their time in Kenosha, they built a home filled with unconditional love, warmth and laughter with their five children. After their time in Kenosha, they returned to Ettrick and continued raising their family. For over 57 years, they were inseparable.
Beverly enjoyed taking care of her flower gardens for which she won multiple yard awards. Her cooking and baking were legendary. Every pie and batch of lefse was made with love. The tedious task of making lefse was a tradition she joyfully shared with her children and grandchildren. Some of her favorite pastimes were playing the accordion, organ, dancing, camping as well as supporting the Brewers and Packers. Everyday, Beverly enjoyed her daily soap operas and listening to classic country music on the radio.
As the matriarch, she took immense pride in her family and friends. Beverly made her home a place of belonging where all were welcomed. Her strength, guidance and quiet acts of kindness will be remembered. Beverly created memories that will be cherished forever.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Glenn; her four children: Sue Tranberg, Debbie (Scott) Harmeson, Jason (Heidi) Tranberg and Nathan (Jenny) Tranberg; 14 grandchildren: Brandon, Ethan, Stephanie, Isela, Zackary, Brittany, Ian, Halle, Breanna, Lauren, Gavin, Coltyn, Blake and Hazel; eight great-grandchildren: Carter, Brody, Branson, Landon, Ryker, Kynzly, Logan and Irie; siblings: Don Jr., Lloyd and Shirley (Kenny) Kopp; sisters-in-law: Margaret Anderson and Janice Tranberg, all of whom will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Donald and Mabel Stellflue; brother, Wally Stellflue; son, Michael Tranberg; and grandson, Jeffrey Tranberg.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 A.M., at South Beaver Creek Lutheran Church, W16679 County Rd.
