Carol R. Redsten

Carol Ruth Redsten, 81, of rural Ettrick, died Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Marinuka Manor, Galesville.

Carol was born March 22, 1940, in Galesville to Carl and Florence (Onsrud) Johnson. On December 23, 1960, she married Larry L. Redsten. Larry preceded her in death, April 18, 2010.

Survivors are her sons: Ricky of Ettrick, Ronnie (Cindy) of Trempealeau, Randy (Patti Truax) of Galesville; five grandchildren: Justin, Ben, Luke, Allison, Jaron; a great-grandson, Aydin; three sisters: Virginia (Donny) Ronning and Joyce (Mary) Johnson, both of Ettrick, Gloria (Bob) Nordstrom of La Crosse; a brother, Jim (Carol) Johnson of Galesville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dennis Johnson; and a nephew, Austin Johnson.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 29, 2021, at French Creek Lutheran Church, rural Ettrick. Rev. Anna Sorenson officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
