Devan S. Olson

Devan Storm Olson, 23, of Blair, died Saturday, January 15, 2022, in Blair.

Devan was born August 21, 1998, in La Crosse, to Robert and Amber (Dorwin) Olson. Devan was the kind of person who would go out of his way to help anyone. He would make time for anyone who needed to talk or a shoulder to cry on, whether he knew them or not.

Devan had a special bond with all of his customers at the Rainbow. Many watched him grow up into the awesome young man that he was. He always loved to talk sports with anyone who would listen. Devan loved to argue with people about the Dallas Cowboys. Whenever he smiled, he would light up the room and cause everyone around him to smile also.

Devan loved being outside since the day he was born. He could be found hunting or fishing when he had spare time. He also enjoyed hanging out with all his friends. During football season, he could be found watching the Cowboys play with his family.

Devan was also an animal lover. He enjoyed milking cows and feeding calves. He was often found with one of his many pets in his lap or on his shoulder.

Devan is survived by his parents, Robert and Amber Olson of Blair; three sisters: Emily (Tyler) Oser, Brianna and Trinity Olson; a brother, Tristen Olson; a nephew, Bennett, whom he loved to spend time with every chance he got; his paternal grandmother, Linda Olson of Hixton; his maternal grandparents, Tina and Carl Sommerstad of Mindoro; and his paternal great-grandmother, Bertha Olson of Blair.

Devan was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents Harold and Adrian Hagen; his paternal great-grandfather, Kenneth Olson; and three uncles: Chris Mish, James Larson and Jesse Woof.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Jack Funeral Home in Blair with a time for sharing memories between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
