Diane E. Gusk

Diane Elaine Gusk, 76, passed away peacefully at home, September 30, 2021.

She was born March 9, 1945, to Olger and Helen (Clipper) Berget. Diane was united in marriage to Jerome Gusk, November 10, 1962. They would have been married 59 years this November. Together, they had four daughters. The two of them spent several years in Rockford, IL, before moving back to Trump Coulee on the family farmstead where they spent their days working.

Diane’s biggest love in her life was her family, including the young adults she fostered throughout the years. If you were to see Diane, you knew a hug was to be expected as well. Some other things Diane loved to do were collect Fenton Glassware, go shopping, reading, and going to auctions and rummage sales. She was very active on their family farm and loved every job she did on it. Diane will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Diane is survived by her husband, Jerry; daughters: Roxanne Larson, Renee (Victor) Hoff, Rhonda (Charles) Hills, and Rita (David) Casper; sister, Mary Lou (Ellsworth) Storlie; and grandchildren: Mitchell Larson, Tia Larson, Ryan (Bekah) Hoff, Brett Hoff, Mathew Hills, Hannah Hills and Ryan Casper.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, James Larson; and special son, Duane Klove.

A Celebration of Life for Diane will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Skyline Golf Course, 612 N. 11th St., Black River Falls. A short memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Kathleen Jury.
