Dianne M. Sesvold

Dianne Marie Sesvold, 76, of Whitehall, died Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at UW Health University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Dianne was born December 8, 1948, in Whitehall, to Tilman (“Tim”) and Gladys (Dahl) Bergum. She graduated high school in Whitehall and married James Sesvold in Northfield, and they had a son, Michael Sesvold. Later in life, Dianne graduated on the Dean’s List with honors from WWTC in La Crosse for Office Computers Specialist. She was very proud of this accomplishment! Dianne had a passion for music, TV entertainment, her cats over the years and her Baptist church community in Whitehall. She will always be remembered as someone who loved to talk!

Dianne is survived by her son, Michael; mother-in-law, Marvel Sesvold; godson, Gene Van Riper Jr.; and many loving nieces and nephews and so many friends and family.

Dianne was preceded in death by her mother and father, Tim and Gladys; her sister, Trudy; her niece, Theresa; and her nephew, Dustin.

A funeral at Dianne’s request will be held Friday, May 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church of Whitehall, 36185 Abrams Street, Whitehall. A light lunch will follow the service. A private, graveside burial with family will be held at Lincoln Cemetery in Whitehall at a later date. Jack Funeral Homes of Whitehall is assisting the family.
