Doris A. Mueller
Doris A. Mueller, 81, of Arcadia, died Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at her home.
Doris was born July 3, 1944 in Arcadia, to August and Helen (Pyka) Sobotta.
On March 8, 1974, Doris was united in marriage to Galen Mueller at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Arcadia. Together they dairy farmed south of Arcadia for over 25 years.
Doris and Galen enjoyed traveling, including many cruises and trips to Branson. She loved her garden, houseplants, decorating for the holidays, the Green Bay Packers and making roast duck dinner for her family during deer hunting (this was her 51st year!). Most recently, Doris enjoyed attending dinner shows and going to the casino with her brother, Aaron.
Doris is survived by her brother, Aaron Sobotta; nieces and nephews: David (Denise) Sobotta, Craig Sobotta, Sandy (Joel) Roswell, Cheryl (Jerry) Spitzer, and Mike (Nuch) Sobotta; sister-in-law, Joyce Sobotta; brother-in-law, Greg Repinski; and many other great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Galen; siblings: Richard Sobotta and Elaine Repinski; sister-in-law, Adeline Sobotta; and nephews, Jeffrey and Phillip Sobotta.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Parish in Pine Creek, with Reverend Kyle Laylan officiating. Family and friends are welcome for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.
