Eileen H. Kittleson
Eileen Helen Kittleson, 100, died Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Grand View Care Center in Blair.
Eileen was born May 19, 1920, in Onalaska to Eugene and Anna (Lemke) Osgood. She was baptized July 4, 1920, at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Onalaska.
“He that believes and is baptized shall be saved”.

Eileen was confirmed February 2, 1936, by Rev. Walter A. Paustian at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Onalaska.
“I am the vine. Ye are the branches. He that abideth in me- shall bring forth me as fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

Eileen graduated from La Crosse Logan High School, June 9, 1938. She married Victor Kittleson, February 17, 1940, in Blair. Victor preceded Eileen in death August 11, 1977.
Eileen retired from Stoh Die Casting after 40 years of service. In her younger years, Eileen played softball and bowled in Blair. She was a faithful church goer. Eileen exercised and practiced Yoga all her life. She was an avid quilter, crocheted many afghans and did needle work. Eileen loved music, the Lawrence Welk Show and Danny O’Donnell. She played almost any card game, dominos and worked crossword puzzles. Eileen was an excellent baker. Her homemade bread, fried bread and potato soup were always a treat to us. She also made lye soap for laundry. Eileen traveled in the U.S. as well to Canada and England.
Eileen is survived by her three children, Michael (Ellen) Kittleson of Ettrick, Steven (Pam) Kittleson of Grafton and Donald (Karen) Kittleson of Liverpool, NY.; 13 grandchildren: Kevin Kittleson, Karmen (Paul) Haugland, Jason Kittleson, Dane (Nicole) Walker, Anna (Jess) Walker, Graham Walker, Sara Kittleson, Erin (Neil) Scharnick, Gretchen (Jeff) Seymour, Kathleen (Brad) MacDuff, Tom (Katie) Kittleson, Kimberly Kittleson and Ryan Kittleson; 13 great-grandchildren: Erik Haughland, Oliver Scharnick, Eli Seymour, Ben Seymour, Rachel Seymour, Cody Walker, Haley Walker, Kristen Kittleson, John Kittleson, Laura Kittleson, Kaiden MacDuff, Karter MacDuff, Konnor MacDuff and Ann Kittleson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Eileen was preceded in death by four brothers: Wilbur, Edward, Willard and Eugene Jr.; three sisters: Nettie Heinze, Ruth Hinrichs and Bernice Hoffman; six sisters-in-law: Zina Osgood, Irma Osgood, Ilamae Osgood, Lucille Back, Grace Jorgenson and Lila Kittleson; a brother-in-law, Ralph Kittleson; two children: Kenneth Kittleson and Janet Walker; and a grandchild, Wesley Kittleson.
The family is grateful for the kind, loving, thoughtful, and respectful care that the staff at Grand View Care Center provided during Eileen’s stay. Memorial donations may be made to Grand View Care Center in her name.
A private family burial and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family with arrangements.
