Ethel M. Lovberg

Ethel Marie Lovberg, 99, of Blair, died Monday, November 1, 2021, at Gundersen Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall.

Ethel was born July 18, 1922, in Blair to Olaf and Olga (Halvorson) Lovberg. She graduated from Blair High School in 1940.

Ethel was employed in the Finance Department for AMPI in Blair prior to her retirement. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Blair and was a Sunday School teacher and Sunday School Chair for many years.

Ethel is survived by two cousins: Roger Kensmoe of Strum and Raymond Olson of Minneapolis, MN; along with other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were held Sunday, November 7, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., at Blair Lutheran Church West with burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery both in Blair. Pastor Paul Sannerud officiated. Friends could call one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Blair Lutheran Church or the Blair-Preston Library.
