Gregory “Greg” Joseph Hillig, 92, caring father and friend to all, perished April 6, 2022.
Born in Arcadia, Greg played college football for the famous, undefeated USF Dons; was an officer in the U.S. Army and U.S. Reserves. He enjoyed teaching high school History. Most memorable were the summers spent in his hometown on the family farm.
Greg is survived by his children: Chris & Vicki Hillig, Mitzi Larsson, and Cindy Davis.
A Mass will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at St. Boniface Catholic Church, followed by burial. Afterwards will be a picnic and refreshments at the Hillig Family Farm, S 2045 Cty Rd. U, Cochrane WI. Friends and family are welcomed to share in this celebration to honor Greg.
