Jeremy J. Ahrndt

Jeremy Joseph Ahrndt, 38, of Fountain City, died peacefully in his sleep, with family by his side, Monday, May 26, 2025, at his home.
Jeremy was born May 16, 1987 in La Crosse to Dawn Ahrndt and Paul Lisowski. Jeremy moved to the Fountain City school district in elementary school, where he met his lifelong best friend and future wife, Jamie Maier, whom he was best friends with since 4th grade.
Jeremy worked for Ashley furniture in research and development. He began working at Ashley at the age of 16 and continued his career until his body wouldn’t allow him. He enjoyed old muscle cars, the outdoors, spending time hunting, demoing cars and trucks, and racing in Fountain City.
The demo team was known as POOR BOYZ MOTORSPORTS, and his racing team is known as the War Pigs. He also was a fantastic cook, known for his skills in smoking meat and grilling for family and friends. If you left hungry, it was your own fault.
His greatest joy came from his children, whom he loved more than anything in the world.
Jeremy will be deeply missed by his wife, Jamie; children: Madison, Kinley, and Carter; parents, Mark and Dawn Bork; siblings: Tristan Bork, Chris, Nicole, Josh, Justin, and Ashley Lisowski; mother and father-in-law, Dennis Maier and Karen (Paul) Anderson; brother and sister-in-law, Jason (Kelly Franzwa) Maier and Allen (Amy Bonitz) Maier; niece and nephew, Aiden and Kennedy; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Lisowski; grandparents, Bob and Shirley Ahrndt and Herman and Maureen Bork; uncle: Steve Ahrndt, Tim Bork, John Bork; and close friends: Tapper (Tagge Poppe) and Chad Kamrowski.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Wozney-Killian Funeral Home. To leave an online condolence for his family, please visit www.wozneykillianfh.com.
