Jerome C. Wier

Jerome C. Wier, 84, of Arcadia, died peacefully, Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Gundersen Tri County Hospital in Whitehall.

Jerome was born February 19, 1939, in Arcadia to Ernest and Stella (Keller) Wier. Jerome farmed alongside his brother, LeRoy, on the family farm in Rainey Valley, raising beef cattle. He enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, and was a collector. Jerome was an avid photographer and had a great love for dogs, especially his dog Diesel.

Jerome was a simple man who lived his life on his own terms. Later in life, he enjoyed his time at ‘A New Day’ — Day Services, where he enjoyed good cooking and joking around with the staff.

Jerome is survived by his sister-in-law, JoAnne Wier; and the loving friends he knew as family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Orville and LeRoy; sister, Evangeline (Marty) Choate.
