Joyce Christenson passed away September 29, 2023, surrounded by love, at Gundersen Lutheran.
Joyce was born September 21, 1944, in Independence. She was the daughter of Irene (Kampa) and Apolinary Waldera. Joyce married Hilmer Christenson, July 10, 1965, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Independence.
A funeral service for Joyce will be held November 11, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Ansgar Catholic Church. Wake will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow. We invite family and friends to celebrate and remember her beautiful life from 12:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m., at the Blair Community Center!
