Kenneth “Kenny” Bautch

 

Kenneth “Kenny” Bautch, 77, of rural Independence, died Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at his home.

Kenny was born May 11, 1944, in Burnside Township, Buffalo County, to Mike M. and Mary (Waletzki) Bautch.

Kenny farmed with his parents in Elk Creek and later moved to Waumandee with Larry and Milda Bautch. He lived and worked for many years on Bill Bremer’s farm where he gained another family. Kenny was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Kenny had a kind heart and never met a person he didn’t like and he loved animals.

Kenny is survived by two sisters: Rosemarie Engan of St. Francis and Joanne Waniorek of South Milwaukee; two brothers: Arnold (Agnes) Bautch of Independence and Michael (Beverly) Bautch of Strum; two sisters-in-law: Milda Bautch of Fountain City and Violet Bautch of Oak Creek; nieces, nephews and friends; Bill Bremer and his family; special friend, Angel Steverson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: Ray, Everett, Hilary, Jerome and Richard Bautch and sister Margaret Bautch.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Independence, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to Mass at the church.
