Laurie L. Sackett

Laurie L. (Alseth) Sackett, 63, of Eau Claire, formerly of Trempealeau, succumbed to cancer, Friday, June 13, 2025, in her home. 

Laurie was born December 14, 1961, in Arcadia to Milford and Pearl (Deedrick) Alseth.

Laurie is survived by her best friend and soul mate, Dan Harris of Eau Claire; siblings: Sandra Stolsmark of North Carolina, Mel Alseth of Galesville, Pat (Tom) Knudsen  of Trempealeau, Dave Alseth of Frederic, and John (Diane) Alseth of Ettrick. She is also survived by three children: Samantha North (Joe), Amanda Hills and Charles Hills; her grandchildren: Sonny North and C.J. Hills; her great-granddaughter, Oaklyn; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and both sets of grandparents; and her son, Adam Kiedrowski.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Laurie on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Sportsman’s Club in Trempealeau.
