Linda E. Sobotta

Linda E. Sobotta, 70, of Arcadia died Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Grand View Care Center in Blair after a hard-fought battle with Parkinson’s.

Linda was born in Arcadia, May 7, 1955, to LaVerne “Susie” and Irene Joan (Lee) Sobotta. She graduated from Arcadia High School and was employed in the shipping department at Watlow Electric Manufacturing Company in Winona, MN. In her younger years, Linda enjoyed snowmobiling and boating. She loved to play pool and shot on a league with teammates from Long Branch Saloon in Dodge. Linda was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. She was a lifetime member of Holy Family Parish and her faith was always important to her.

Linda is survived by her brothers: Pat Sobotta and Jim (Susan) Sobotta; sister-in-law, Jean Sobotta; special cousin and best friend, Maureen Kay; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Bob Sobotta and Charles (in infancy); and aunts and uncles. 

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Holy Family Parish. Father Kyle Laylan officiated. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery, rural Arcadia. To express condolences to her family online, please visit www.wozneykillianfh.com.
