Lucille A. Sosalla

Lucille A. Sosalla, 90, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at the Pigeon Falls Nursing Home.

Lucille was born September 2, 1933. She was a woman that loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lucille was a lifetime member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Rosary Society, and the Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed knitting and sewing in her spare time. Lucille lost the love of her life, her husband, Gene, in 2015.

She leaves behind one sister, Marie Kloss; three children: Sandie (Bob) Gunderson of Independence, Gary (Beth) Sosalla of Holmen, and Susan (Pat) Bolger of Hartland; five grandchildren: Robbie Gunderson, Stacie (Don) Hogan, Chase (Holly) Sosalla, Brooke Sosalla, Hunter Bolger; five great-grandchildren: Morgan Gunderson, Kloe Gunderson, Gunner Hogan, Croix and Reed Sosalla.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Albin; sister, Lillian (Edmund) Suchla; and brother-in-law, Donald Kloss.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father George Thayilkuzhitottu officiating. Family and friends are welcome for visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
