Michael T. Cannon

Michael Thomas Cannon, 52, of Pleasantville, died Friday, February 11, 2022, after a tenacious war with COVID at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.

Michael was born November 24, 1969, in La Crosse, to Delbert and Charlotte Cannon. He married Tammy Priestaf, September 26, 1996.

Michael loved driving trucks and driving tractors, especially within the farming industry. The annual tractor rides were a delight. In his youth, he really enjoyed tractor pulls and was a frequent winner. Although he made mistakes in his life, he was trying hard to make amends and become a better person. Michael and Tammy amicably separated and, in the last year, Michael found a love to last forever with Shelly Thompson. Tammy and the rest of his family were very happy with this match.

Michael is survived by Shelly Thompson, fiancé; Tammy Cannon, wife; Miranda (Alex) Cannon, daughter; Bradley Tuchalski, son; Adrianne Tuchalski, granddaughter; Barrett Rafajko, granddaughter; Charlotte (Marilyn) Cannon, mother; Stephen Cannon, brother; Carrie Rhodes, sister; Delbert (Dusty) Cannon, nephew; Emerald Moor, niece; Baylee Cannon, nephew; along with many special friends and co-workers.

Michael was preceded in death by his father.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall.
