Norma H. Lien

Norma Harriet (Noren) Lien, 99, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026, in rural Blair, at the home she shared with her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Gaylord Foss.
Norma was born October 2, 1926, in the rural Township of Franklin, WI, the daughter of Harold and Minnie (Hegastad) Noren. She graduated from Blair High School in 1944. Following graduation, Norma moved to Racine, WI and worked for two years. She returned home where she met the love of her life, Raymond Lien. They were married May 4, 1946, in a double ceremony with Edith Lien and Myron Noren, at Upper Beaver Creek Church in rural Taylor.
After marriage, they farmed and started a family. Later she worked at Lake Center Industries until her retirement.
Norma is survived by her five children: Nancy (Dusty) Post, Wayne (Bonnie) Lien, Julie (Gaylord) Foss, Robbie (Laura) Lien and Crystal (Larry) Crivits; 13 grandchildren: Daniel (Karla) Post, Deanne (Rod) Eslinger, Derek (Heather) Post, Kevin (Dena) Lien, Michelle (Tim) Kratz, Nicholas (Miranda) Foss, Justin (Kimberly) Foss, Casey Foss, Christopher (Bree) Lien, April (Jason) Moen, Ryan (Emily) Crivits, Brandon (Mercedes) Crivits, and Aaron (Missy) Crivit; 28 great-grandchildren: Emma, Evan and Caden Eslinger, Drew (fiancée Morgan), and Reid Post. Tate Brisky, Mya and Remy Post. Deven (fiancé Rachel), Macy (fiancé Carter) and Benjamin Lien. Anna (Broden) and Sydni Kratz. Kadarina and Jensen Foss. Laynee Foss. Chase, Blis, Beti and Calan Lien. Maverick and Jackson Moen. Millie Crivits. Brinley, Zoey and Letti Crivits. Cheyenne and Carson Crivits; and one great-great-grandchild, Ember Lien.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; a baby girl, Raeann Norma; her husband, Raymond Harry; three brothers: Carlyle, Myron, Herman Noren; and one sister, Evelyn Sodergren; along with numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Norma’s greatest love was her Savior Jesus Christ and her loving family. Norma’s family was truly blessed to have been loved by her.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at North Beaver Creek Lutheran Parish, First Lutheran Church (white building). Visitation will be Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the church and one hour prior to the service.
