Paulette Robinson
Paulette Robinson, 91, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the Trempealeau County Health Care Center in Whitehall.
Paulette was born January 28, 1933, in Sainte-Lizaigne, France. She married Willard “Bill” Robinson, December 27, 1954. Together they had seven children. Paulette was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose unwavering love and support shaped the lives of her children.
She truly thrived in the company of friends, embracing every moment of laughter and joy, whether it was sharing a round of golf, enjoying a friendly card game, or savoring the excitement of bingo. But what she cherished most of all was gathering her beloved family to share a meal and bake sweet treats, which was bound to fill the kitchen with laughter.
Paulette’s presence was a gift to everyone who knew her, and she will be profoundly missed. Her radiant smile and generous heart touched the lives of many, leaving behind an enduring legacy filled with love, and of course, remnants of cheeky lipstick-filled kisses.
Paulette is survived by six children: Will Robinson of Inver Grove Heights, MN, Jackie (Jim) Walter of San Antonio, TX, Claudette (Fritz) Truax of Trempealeau, Colette “Turtle” Minser of Trempealeau, Nicky (Dan) Gillett of Wisconsin Rapids, and Keith Robinson of Rochester, MN. Survivors also included six grandchildren: Dani (Brian) Rypka, Niki Robinson, Jamie Walter, Jordan Walter, Melanie (Cole) Bawek, Xavier Robinson; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard; son, John Robinson; and son-in-law, Fred Minser.
The Robinson family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff and residents at the Trempealeau County Health Care Center for their outstanding care and compassion over the past five years. Paulette was blessed to be surrounded by a community of loving people during this time.
A private Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Trempealeau. The Rev. Sebastian Saleth Pitchai officiated and burial was in St. Bridget’s Catholic Cemetery.
