Philip R. Lunde

Philip Ralph Lunde, 82, of Blair, formerly of York, died Tuesday, December 23, 2025, surrounded by family, at Grand View Care Center in Blair.
Philip was born April 9, 1945, in Whitehall, to Palmer and Ida (Evenson) Lunde. He married Grace A. Bautch, February 12, 1966, in Pigeon Falls.
Philip spent many years farming and hauling milk, a way of life that reflected his strong work ethic and deep appreciation for the land. He had a lifelong love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and camping, especially during the years he spent making cherished memories with his children and grandchildren. Philip also enjoyed sightseeing through the local countryside, often taking leisurely drives just to take in the views. Above all else, Philip treasured time spent with his family and found his greatest joy in being together.
Philip is survived by his wife, Grace; three children: June (Wayne) Harms of Whitehall and Tom and Chris Lunde both of York; grandchildren: Elizabeth Daffinson (Lunde), Tim (Lizzie) Lunde, Ty Lunde, Monte Amundson, Kennedy Harms and MaggieMay Harms; great-grandchildren: Corbyn and Casen Daffinson, Jaxon Lunde, Lucy and Owen Amundson and Waylon Harms.
In addition to his parents, Philip was preceded in death by an infant brother, Peter.
A memorial service was held Sunday, December 28, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., at Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall. Scott W. Brown – SAM, officiated. Burial will be at Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Pigeon Falls at a later date.
