Roland “Rollie” C. Haines

Roland “Rollie” C. Haines, 93, of Arcadia, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Roger Metz Manor in Winona, MN.

Roland was born in Arcadia, February 8, 1931, to Ralph Sr. and Anna (Kronschnabl) Haines. Rollie and his brother, Jack, took over the family business, Haines Decorating. Rollie proudly served in the National Guard. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing whenever he could. Later in life, Rollie found a love for golf. Rollie always had a sense of humor and quick wit. He was fortunate to have it until the very end.

Rollie is survived by his wife, Sharon; children: Patti (Duane) Lisowski of Mondovi, Bob (Terri) Haines of La Crosse, Paul (Barb) Haines of Rochester, MN, Karen Haines of Winona, MN, and Cathy Haines of Arcadia; grandchildren: Lydia Engel of La Crosse and Abby Engel of Los Angeles, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Ralph and Jack; and sister, Ann Marie Haines.

Family and friends were welcomed for visitation, Monday, June 24, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Wozney-Killian Funeral Home in Arcadia. Roland was laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
