Ryan J. Appel

Ryan Joe Appel, 51, of rural Arcadia, died Monday, August 11, 2025, at Gundersen Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall.

Ryan was born October 7, 1973, in Rapid City, SD, to Joe and Cheryl (Doud) Appel. Ryan was a lover of fast cars, women, music and tattoos. He loved to spend his time tinkering on motors or fishing.

Ryan is survived by his siblings: Dawn, Jamez, Amy and Shawn; his son, Kyle; and grandchildren: Kegan, Izabella, Henasey, Jordyn and Chevelle.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ryan will be dearly missed and we invite you to join us for a Celebration of Life for Ryan on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Riverside Memorial Park, Log Cabin Upper Shelter, on North Park Road in Blair.
