Sarah C. Brekke

Sarah Camille Brekke, 47, of Hastings, MN, and formerly of Whitehall, daughter of Terry and Cheryl (Myren) Brekke, passed away unexpectedly,  Sunday, October 3, 2021, in Whitehall.

Sarah was born September 13, 1974, in Eau Claire. She was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Strum and confirmed at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Whitehall. Sarah graduated from Whitehall High School and UW-Stout.

Sarah was presently the general manager at the Escape Lounge in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport in Bloomington, MN. Her greatest love and accomplishment was raising two boys: Tristan Paul (9) and Benjamin Anthony (4).

Sarah is survived by her sons: Tristan and Benjamin; their father, David Udovich; her parents, Terry and Cherie; her brother, Tony; aunts and uncles: Darlene Insteness, Owen and Georgia Brekke, Steve and Krystal Brekke, Lavern and Mary Hulett; many cousins and other relatives and her best friend since kindergarten, Emily Chock.

Sarah was preceded in death by her grandparents: Adolph and Eileen Myren and Irvin and Eva Brekke; her uncle, Bob Insteness; several great-aunts and great-uncles and a cousin, Derek Brekke.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., in Saint Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Strum. Chaplain John E. Berg will officiate.

A celebration of Sarah’s life will be held following the graveside service from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Whitehall-Pigeon Rod and Gun Club in rural Whitehall.

Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall is assisting the family with arrangements.
