Sidney K. Schuch
Sidney Kay Schuch, 56, of rural Blair, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021, at UW Health-University Hospital in Madison, with her loving family by her side.
Sidney was born November 5, 1964, in Racine to Douglas Schuch and Sharon Nyen.
Sidney graduated from Whitehall Memorial High School, Class of 1982. She worked for Ashley Furniture Industries for many years.
Sidney loved the outdoors and her pets. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing and being on the water. Sidney liked to take the time to stop and visit people just to say “Hi”. She especially loved spending time with her two granddaughters, Kiylee and Aubrey.
Sidney is survived by her love, Mark Mathson of Blair; two children: Erica (George Labar) Schuch and Nathan Schuch, both of Blair; two grandchildren: Kiylee Phillipson and Aubrey Schuch; two sisters: Kari Boberg of Arcadia and Lisa (Mike Lokken) Grulkowski of Eleva; her mother, Sharon Nyen of Blair; two nephews: Adam Grulkowski and Matthew Boberg; a niece, Kayla Grulkowski; Mark’s parents, Leslie (Marlene) Mathson of Blair; Mark’s brothers: Layne Mathson of Blair and Pat (Debrah Clare) Mathson of Taylor; and Mark’s aunt, Sonja Nezworski, of Eau Claire.
Sidney was preceded in death by her father, Douglas.
A visitation will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Jack Funeral Home in Blair.
Sidney touched so many people throughout her short life and will be missed by all. As Sidney always said, “Love You!!”.
