Theodore “Ted” E. Jackson

Theodore “Ted” E. Jackson, 80, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Hospice Alliance Hospice House.

Ted was born February 14, 1940, to the late Rudolph and Iva (Olson) Jackson in Whitehall. He was educated in the schools of Independence and graduated from Independence High School.

On August 4, 1962, he married the love of his life, Shari, at St. Stan’s Catholic Church in Arcadia.

Ted worked in final repair and paint department at AMC/Chrysler for 31 years. After retiring from Chrysler, he worked at Six Flags for 17 years. Ted was a member of UAW Local 72.

He enjoyed driving his 1962 Chevy, fishing, hunting, traveling and going to casinos.

Ted is survived by his wife, Shari; his son, Dean Jackson of Kenosha; his daughter, Tammie (Barry) Suchla of Independence; and his grandchildren: Danielle and Trevor Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Iver.

A Memorial Mass for Ted will be held Saturday, March 14, at 12:00 p.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 7307 40th Ave., Kenosha. Inurnment will follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday morning, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Memorials would be appreciated to Hospice Alliance.
