Theresa M. Wozney

Theresa M. Wozney, 84, formerly of Arcadia, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021, at Gundersen Tri-County Nursing Home in Whitehall.

Theresa was born in Arcadia, May 21, 1936, to Joseph and Eleanor (Kampa) Wozney. She attended Arcadia Schools, and was employed with Arcadia Fryers. Theresa was a hard and faithful worker, never missing a day of work, and retired from Gold’n Plump, Inc. In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to Old-Time music, going to the farm and sipping a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon while tending to her garden. In her younger years, she would babysit and cook for family. 

Theresa is survived by her son, Kerry Wozney of Arcadia; sisters: Angeline Breska of Whitehall, Bernice (Butch) Bisek of Arcadia, and Mary (Larry) Dubiel of Strum; brother, Joseph Wozney of Arcadia; and many special nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother-in-law, Wilfred Breska.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, April 5, 2021, at 12:00 p.m., at Holy Family Parish. Father Kyle Laylan officiated. Family and friends were invited for visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Burial was at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Arcadia.
