Thomas L. “Tom” Kramer

 

Thomas Lee “Tom” Kramer, 73, of rural Pine Creek, WI, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family.

Thomas was born December 13, 1951, in Downy, CA, to James and Virginia (Kotlarz) Kramer, and was a graduate of Winona High School. Tom was united in marriage to Jackie Lean, October 20, 1973, in Coon Valley, WI.

Tom was employed as a tool and die maker with Peerless Chain Company in Winona, MN, until he retired in December of 2012. An avid outdoorsman, Tom enjoyed cutting wood, hunting, and riding the ATV trails in the woods on his property near Bear Coulee. He was an avid pool player and shot league pool for more than 40 years in area taverns. Tom was a member of the Trempealeau County ATV Association.

Tom is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jackie; daughter, Krystal (Justin) Young; son, Christopher (Marissa) Kramer; brothers: Charlie (Anne) Kramer, Richard (Carol) Kramer, Michael (Sandra) Kramer, and Jeffrey Kramer; sisters: Cindy Whetstone, Denise (James) Albrecht, and Melissa (Christopher) Redlin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; baby sister, Katherine; and brother-in-law, Robert Whetstone.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.,  at Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 E. Sarnia St., Winona, MN. followed by a private burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Pine Creek, WI.
