Victor R. Sydlo

Victor Rudolph Sydlo, 82, of Arcadia, died Sunday, April 18, 2021, at St. Michael’s Assisted Living in Fountain City, under the care of Winona Area Hospice.
Victor was born October 27, 1938, in Arcadia, to Rudolph and Cecelia (Sobish) Sydlo. Victor farmed in rural Arcadia, helped others with custom field work and also enjoyed doing carpentry work. Although Victor never married, he took great pride in caring for his family, including his parents, sisters, nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed a good game of euchre.
Victor is survived by his sister, Carmen Kuss of Arcadia and her daughter, Linda, her children: Jesse and Samantha, her children: Caiden and Zoey; Dawn (Tim Kuss) and her children: Jacob, Brittney, Jeramiah; and nieces; Amelia’s daughters: Bonnie, Tammy, and Michelle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudy and Cecelia; sisters: Amelia Pawlak, Louise Sydlo; twin siblings in infancy; and nephew, Tim Kuss.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Parish in Pine Creek. Father Sebastian Kolodziejczyk officiated. Friends and family were invited for visitation one hour prior to the Mass at church. Covid-19 guidelines were followed. Burial was in the church cemetery.
